Rajwada Palace

The Rajwada palace is a historical building and a popular landmark in Indore city. It was also built by the Holkars of the Maratha Empire roughly about two centuries ago. It exhibits some intricate forms of architecture and craftsmanship. The Holkars lived life king size in the truest sense which is evident from this majestic palace. The Rajwada Palace still stands tall with all its might and grandeur and is flocked by tourists in the city.

Mandavgarh

Mandavgarh is a ruined city located at a distance of about 100 kilometres from Indore. Its majestic forts, palaces and tombs are a sight to behold. Although it is almost in ruins now, it forces every visitor to wonder about the glamour and magnificence that it must have exuded in its heydays. Due to its strategic location it was used as an important military outpost which is evident from its battlemented wall, which is nearly 37 km long. 

Patalpani Waterfall

Indore is home to many beautiful waterfalls and one of the most popular is the Patalpani waterfall. This cascading waterfall has a height of 200 - 300 feet and is one of the most sought after picnic spots in Indore. The picturesque and calm ambience around the waterfalls set amidst lush greenery makes it a must visit destination during your trip to Indore. The depth of the pool made by the waterfall is considered to be infinite hence the name- Patalpani. The terrain surrounding it also makes it perfect for trekking and hiking.
