Pune is well known for its majestic parks, where you can be close to nature and find peace and harmony in you. Empress Garden: It is a botanical garden well-maintained by the Agri-horticultural society of western India. Spread over an area of 39 acres, this place is rich in flora and fauna than any other place in the city. This is also a good picnic spot; for relaxing and spending quality time with your family. An annual flower show is held in this venue every year in January.

Bund Garden: This garden is also known as Mahatma Gandhi Udyan and is a good place for relaxing, owing to its soothing and peaceful atmosphere. This place also hosts magic shows and horse races sometimes. In winter, bird watching is a popular activity as one can see a large number of migratory birds here.

Pu La Deshpande Udyan: Located in Sinhagad road in Pune, this park was built with inspiration from Okayama garden in Japan. One can spend hours in this garden, strolling by the water bodies or enjoying the beauty of different kinds of flowers that grow here. 

Kamala Nehru Park: This park, located in the Model colony, is relatively small compared to others. It has a jogging track and a children’s playground. People of all age groups come to visit the park. Two beautiful lawns and a charming fountain also elucidate the attractiveness of the garden.
